My son is in his first year at UC Irvine and I needed to pick up a futon, a small fridge, a desk, and two chairs to furnish his dorm. The items were coming from two different sellers. I called the sellers, negotiated a great price, and then gave CMOC the addresses of both sellers and the building that my son would be in. CMOC took care of scheduling the pickup with sellers. It couldn’t have been easier! Three hours later, I met them at the door of the room, and they did all the work getting the furniture up three flights of stairs. If I would have bought these items at Ikea, it would have cost me $400 more and I would have had to figure out how to haul it over in my Accord.
That’s the best $100 I ever spent.
We were happy to work with this client and pick up his items from two different locations in Orange County (Santa Ana and Costa Mesa) in one pickup. We even called the client once we arrived at the second destination because we found a deep scratch in the desk. The negotiated a better price that nearly paid for our services!
On our way to UCI, we gave him a call and he met us to open the door.
